How do I export my slideshow movie for uploading to YouTube or Vimeo?
Create a slideshow as usual and save it to disk. Now open the slideshow movie in QuickTime Player 7. More info on how to install QuickTime Player 7 at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3678.
Select Export… from the File menu and in the dialog that pops up select Export: Movie to QuickTime Movie and hit the Options… button.
In the next dialog click Settings…
Now select H.264 for Compression Type and say 15 for Frame Rate and close the window.
Now hit the Save button.
Wait for the export to finish and you will have a perfect slideshow movie to upload to YouTube or Vimeo or any other video sharing service.
How can I add a SlideshowMovie to iWeb?
1, Start by creating a SlideshowMovie as usual.
2, Go into Settings and uncheck Create Web Page.
3, Export your SlideshowMovie to the Movies folder on your local drive.
4, In iWeb create a new blank page (or any page you like) and click the Media browser icon.
5, Find your SlideshowMovie and Drag and Drop the movie onto the desired page in iWeb.
6, Open the iWeb Inspector
7, Go to the Metrics inspector and click Original Size
8, Go to the QuickTime inspector and uncheck Show movie controller
9, Position your SlideshowMovie on the page and you're done!
